The Money Bin is a place where Scrooge McDuck stores his money. It is also considered to be Scrooge's home in most of the Carl Barks and Don Rosa stories
The Early YearsEdit
When Scrooge and his sisters Matilda and Hortense move to Duckburg Scrooge builds his Money Bin on Killmotor Hill after tearing down Fort Duckburg while fighting with President Teddy Roosevelt and his Rough Riders. After that Scrooge went around the world expanding his fortune until he became the Richest Duck in the World. During that time Scrooge was living in his Money Bin. After Scrooge came back he eventually retired and bought a mansion in 1942 and stayed there until 1947. After he first met his nephews he sold his mansion and moved back into his Money Bin.
The Current EraEdit
Scrooge likes to dive into his Money Bin as if it was a swimming pool. Sometimes The Money Bin gets attacked by The Beagle Boys or Magica De Spell in an attempt to get his fortune or his Number One Dime but they always get defeated by Scrooge and his nephews. Flintheart Glomgold has a Money Bin that is almost identical to Scrooge's except that he has a pound sign on his Money Bin instead of a dollar sign like Scrooge has. It is revealed in some stories that if Scrooge passes away that Huey Dewey and Louie will own Scrooge's Money Bin.
