Description & History[]

The Duckburg Times is a respected Duckburg newspaper, its equivalent of the New York or London Times. As early as the 1920's, the Duckburg Times reported on the exploits of Phantomius, the gentleman-thief, and it steadfastly carried on throughout the 20th century and into the 21st.

Behind the scenes[]

The Duckburg Times is a transparent counterpart to the various real-life versions of the Times, whose debut has not yet been traced by this Wiki.

The Duckburg Times was once the title of a Carl Barks-based fanzine throughout the 1970's. The late “Duckburg Wiki”, in one of its more creative endeavors, also had a page that hosted a defictionalized version of the Duckburg Times (sans printed The), complete with specially-created logos and classified ads, though the main headlines broke the fourth wall by informing readers of the Wiki's current state.
